Thermal Product Solutions Ships Four Gruenberg Explosion Resistant Class “A” Truck-in-Ovens to the Pharmaceutical Industry

Thermal Product Solutions, a global manufacturer of thermal-processing equipment, announced the shipment of four (4) Gruenberg Explosion Resistant Class “A” truck-in-ovens to the pharmaceutical industry. The pharmaceutical ovens are rated for Class A operation to handle processing solvents per the NFPA 86 specifications.

These Gruenberg unitized ovens have a maximum temperature rating of 60° C and work chamber dimensions of 38” W x 38” D x 68” H. The explosion resistant ovens were constructed from a structural steel frame that supports the 304-stainless steel chamber liner and the exterior stainless steel sheet metal. All interconnecting struts are non-continuous which keeps the exteriors cool.

These granulation dryers utilize horizontal airflow, which maximize heating rates and temperature uniformity of the product load. A circulation blower with variable frequency drives are in a conditioning plenum chamber on the top of the oven. The blower directs air through a diffuser panel to flow horizontally across the product. The air exits the work chamber on the opposite side duct wall back to the steam coil for reheating and recirculation.
