Thermal Product Solutions Ships a Blue M Batch Oven to a Specialty Chemicals Company
March 16, 2017-- Thermal Product Solutions (TPS), a global manufacturer of thermal-processing equipment, announced the shipment of a Blue M Convection Oven to a specialty chemicals company. This industrial oven will be used for drying precious metals and granules at 150°F. The metal powder will be placed on customer trays and then placed on oven shelves during the drying process.
This Blue M batch oven has a maximum temperature rating of 300⁰ F and work chamber dimensions of 48” W X 24” D x 36” H. The drying oven required a special Halar coating to be applied to the oven interior to help protect the work space against off gassing HCL during the drying process. The HCL would damage the standard stainless steel interior so the oven liner, duct walls, ceiling, and floor were all coated with the Halar coating. Special Halar coated shelves were also provided with the Blue M oven.
