Mikron Raises The Bar On Low-Cost Thermal Imaging With Introduction Of Mikroscan 7515
Oakland, NJ (November 1, 2001) - Mikron Instruments Company, Inc. (Nasdaq: MIKR) today announced that it has recently unveiled industry's first affordable fully-radiometric, hand-held thermal imaging camera with software for the predictive maintenance markets. The MikroScan 7515 offers the same Uncooled Focal Plane Array (Microbolometer) as its more sophisticated counterpart-the MikroScan 7200. In addition to containing many functions normally found on infrared cameras costing twice as much, the MikroScan 7515 ships complete with the world-renowned MikroSpec thermal image analysis and report generation software-providing predictive/preventative maintenance plants with a complete thermal inspection system at a price under $25,000.
