Pyro-Tape 682-TB, a new thermally insulative, high temperature tape produced by Aremco Products, Inc., is now available for insulating pipes, doors and ductwork for applications to 2500 °F (1371 °C).

Pyro-Tape 682-TB is a new thermally insulative,high temperature tape fabricated using a silica ceramic cloth combined with an adhesive backing layer to make it easier to wrap pipes. The tape is rated to 2500°F (1371 °C) and provides a thermal conductivity of 1.00 Btu-in/hrs-ft2-°F.
Pyro-Tape 682-TB is typically used to insulative high temperature pipes, doors and ductwork used in combustion systems, incinerators, heat exchangers, exhaust systems, and boilers.
Pyro-Tape 682-TB is available in several standard sizes:
Pyro-Tape 682-TB1 0.030” (0.76mm) Thick x 1”, 2” or 4”
