The Star Tribune Picks Gomez to Optimize Web Experience for StarTribune.com's Five Million Content Consumers


LEXINGTON, Mass., Dec. 10 -- The Star Tribune, the leading source of news and information in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, has selected the Gomez®ExperienceFirst(TM) platform to enhance the web experience it delivers to more than five million monthly unique visitors to its primary website, www.StarTribune.com.

A dynamic media organization, the Star Tribune will use several Gomez on-demand web application experience management services to strategically plan for, test, manage and continually enhance the web applications, content and services it delivers to site visitors. Gomez products to be used by the company include Active Network XF(TM), which provides page-level and transaction monitoring from 80+ globally-located Internet backbone nodes; and Actual Experience XF(TM), which measures performance from each site visitor's browser for a true picture of the end user experience.
