Fairfield, NJ - The OYSTAR USA Process Division, which is responsible for all sales, service and support in North America for OYSTAR Manesty and OYSTAR pharmaceutical processing equipment, will be exhibiting at the 2008 AAPS (American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists) Annual Meeting & Expo on November 16th - 20th at Booth #614, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
The OYSTAR USA Process Division will be exhibiting the OYSTAR Manesty FLEXITAB Tablet Press and the OYSTAR Manesty XSpress R&D Rotary Press at the show.
o Developed to support the production of small batches, one of the Manesty FLEXITAB's most notable features is a multi-layer tablet function that gives it the unique capacity to produce three-layer tablets. Unlike other tablet presses, the FLEXITAB is not fixed to a compression cycle. All parameters are fully adjustable which allows for the simulation of any rotary tablet press at any given speed. This is possible due the FLEXITAB's hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders that enable compression forces of 100kN and rapid punch displacement.
o The compact, mobile OYSTAR Manesty XSpress R&D Rotary Press is designed for small quantity trials and provides advanced R&D software and instrumentation for users to measure key process data such as product compressibility. It's flexible, modular design enables additional functions to be added at a later time. The XSpress offers pre- and main compression to prevent "capping" and a unique hybrid turret with four B and four D punches to allow for rapid format change without replacing the turrets.
