These systems were primarily designed to provide long spans of coverage in rail car applications. With overall lengths starting at 60ft, and accommodation to any application length or height, Rigid Lifelines long span multiple post systems provide a better form of fall protection for rail car workers.
Our long span systems are more aesthetically pleasing and less intrusive than competitor's systems. The sleek tendon and post design uses 60% less steel over conventional designs and isn't bulky with wasted support steel. Rigid Lifelines long span systems can be manufactured for single bay use, to cover one rail car track, or can be mirrored to provide twin bay use, where one system can cover two rail car tracks while still utilizing one set of support posts. Systems can be outfitted with single track, dual track, or our new triple track, providing the ability for three individual workers to work on top of rail cars and pass each other with ease when needed.
