Introducing New Twin-Connection Disconnect Test Terminal Blocks from Weidmuller
RICHMOND, VA (May 1, 2006) - Weidmuller's new branch or dual-connection disconnect test terminal blocks provide companies in the process industry the ability to "common" circuits together to easily perform measurement and testing for quick failure detection. The new WTR terminals feature screw connection technology and are available in two versions: WTR 4/ZR-Branch, or WTR 4/ZZ-dual connections on both sides. These space-saving designs, in many cases, eliminate the need for a second terminal block with jumper accessory.
In addition to the disconnect test functionality, Weidmuller offers a variety of accessories to extend the use of the WTR 4/ZZ and WTR 4/ZR terminal blocks. The innovative SIHA 3 fuse holder enables the user to easily convert the disconnect terminal to a fuse terminal. The component plug (BEST) converts the WTR terminals into component terminals with resistors or diodes. And, the removable pull-pin disconnect (TNST) serves as a key to allow for quick and convenient circuit disconnection. Simply remove the pull-pin to disconnect, and re-insert to recommission the circuit.
The WTR 4/ZZ and WTR 4/ZR terminal blocks are UL rated for 600V, 30A and 30 - 10 AWG. They accept Weidmuller's pluggable ZQV 4N jumpers, and accommodate the WS or DEK marking systems.
