Pomona Electronics' New SMD Microtip Test Probe Makes Probing in Hard-to-Reach Areas Easy
EVERETT, Wash., - Pomona Electronics, the leading manufacturer of cable assemblies, connectors, and test accessories, announces its new SMD Microtip test probes, designed to easily probe SMD (surface mount device) contacts. The probe features a stainless steel needle tip that is curved to aid in probing hard-to-reach areas.
The SMD probe is rated 1200 Vrms maximum for hands-free testing in controlled environments. It is not intended for handheld use at voltages above 33 Vrms/70Vdc.
Pomona's new SMD Microtip test probes are available separately (black part number 5144-48-0; red part number 5144-48-2; $11.76 U.S. suggested retail price each), and as a kit containing both a black and red probes (part number 6235; $22.39 SRP) through most general electronics distributors.
