Avalue's New COM Express / ETX Module StarterKits for Evaluation
Avalue's new StarterKits, ESK-COM and ESK-ETX, provide customers quick test and evaluation. The StarterKit contains the COM express or ETX CPU modules with one Micro-ATX or ATX carrier board, it also comes with complete accessories including one passive heat-sink or heat-spreader, one power supply, one starter guide, and also a design guide CD in which users can find Win XP Embedded and Linux BSPs, drivers, and schematics.
There are many benefits that the computer-on-modules will bring, such as cost-saving, quick installation and flexible applications. According to the pin-out type-2 design of carrier boards, customers can reduce a lot of time for installation and examination, and achieve advanced cost-down. Furthermore, the full-functioned baseboards could be the references for those who are capable of designing their own baseboards, including choosing storage device interfaces, testing software compatibility, or selecting expansion slots for extra system functions.
