Chart's REAL-20 Test Chamber Is Ideal for Smaller Component Testing - Lowers Cost of Environmental Testing
CLEVELAND, OHIO - March 11, 2005 - Chart Industries, Inc. (OTCPK: CIDI) has announced the release of its REAL-20 Accelerated Reliability Test Chamber.
The REAL-20 represents the latest evolution of Chart's highly successful environmental test chamber product line and incorporates numerous features:
o Up to 60 Degrees C per minute rapid thermal change rate.
o Tri-Axial, repetitive shock vibration system (up to 60 GRMS)
o Advanced insulation for thermal efficiency, sound deadening and smaller footprint.
o Monitors up to 36 auxiliary thermal couples and 40 accelerometer inputs.
o Multiple safety features ensure heat, liquid nitrogen, and vibration is inhibited when activated.
o Available PC-based software for chamber operation and data acquisition.
Chart's REAL-20 also incorporates many improvements over its predecessor, the TVC-1 unit. The REAL-20 chamber utilizes the highly praised CTI color touch-screen controller for reliable, flexible and user-friendly control of the HALT chamber. Design
improvements have also been made to make the chamber quieter and more ergonomic for the user.
