Introducing Ethernet-Based Powertrain Test Cell Control
SAKOR Technologies, Inc., a recognized leader in the implementation of instrumentation products for powertrain system testing, introduces version 4.1 of its DynoLAB(TM) PT Test Cell Control System.
Version 4.1 adds the increased bandwidth and convenience of Ethernet and Wireless Ethernet (IEEE 802.11g) to the DynoLAB(TM) PT system. The distributed nature of the DynoLAB(TM) PT has always offered unmatched ease of installation and noise immunity. The addition of Ethernet support has increased the bandwidth available for data acquisition, further reduced the number of connections required, and enabled an even higher level of remote monitoring capability. The deployment of Wireless Ethernet further reduces the impact to existing facilities during installation by providing the potential to eliminate all physical connections between test cell devices and the control room.
DynoLAB(TM) PT employs SAKOR's DynoLAB Test Executive(TM), a robust software product based on National Instrument's LabVIEW® and SAKOR's proprietary software architecture. The DynoLAB Test Executive(TM) offers operators the most user-friendly graphical user interface available and the ability to create complex test sequences without highly specialized programming. Version 4.1 also offers further enhancements to the industry-leading graphical user interface. These enhancements allow SAKOR's customers to more quickly develop displays tailored for each unique test condition. Entire display panels can be quickly replicated and then modified to present the desired parameters without the need to manually recreate each display.
SAKOR has also further expanded the broad list of instrumentation devices supported by the DynoLAB(TM) PT to include additional emissions gas analyzers, function generators, oscilloscopes, and electric motor drivers.
