Terso Solutions RFID Jump Start Takes the Risk Out of Implementing RFID for Hospitals and Research Laboratories Looking to Streamline Operations and Improve Regulatory Compliance

Terso's RFID Jump Start provides a quick, low cost way to control inventory management costs and improve regulatory compliance, and can be implemented in less than 30 days

MADISON, Wis., -- Terso Solutions, Inc. announced RFID Jump Start, a quick, low cost way to control inventory management costs and improve regulatory compliance that can be implemented in less than 30 days.

The Jump Start package includes cabinet, refrigerator, or freezer rental, hosted inventory management software, and remote management and support for one low monthly fee. There is no hardware to purchase, and no software to install. It also includes a 90 day satisfaction guarantee, which allows organizations to opt out of the program with no additional obligation.

"Many organizations see the value in RFID technology for automated inventory management, but they either don't know how to get started or don't have the capital to implement a solution that impacts existing infrastructure," said Joe Pleshek, CEO and President of Terso Solutions, Inc. "Our Jump Start program eliminates up front costs and takes the risk out of implementing an RFID solution.

Terso's inventory management solution allows an organization to place an Internet enabled cabinet, refrigerator, or freezer in any location where an Internet connection is available. For those locations without reliable access, cellular data networks can be used.

"Our Research Lab customers have seen substantial benefits, including improved regulatory compliance, cost savings through not having to discard expired products, and a reduction in stock outs," said Jason Rosemurgy, Global Sales Director of Terso Solutions, Inc. "And hospitals continue to tell us that they've been able to improve patient care and contain costs through automation and smarter purchasing. The Jump Start is a quick, cost-effective way to start leveraging a proven RFID inventory management solution."

As of 2010, Terso has deployed 800 RFID enabled cabinets, freezers and refrigerators around the world. All of Terso's products are certified by the Federal Communications Commission for EMC emissions and have received CE, C-Tick and UL certifications.
