New Wago Relays and Optocouplers Offer Wide Range Of Voltages

Germantown, WI, Jan. 2003-WAGO Corporation introduces new rail-mounted switching relay terminal blocks and optocoupler terminal blocks, Series 859. The relays and optocouplers feature 5, 24, 48, 60, 115, and 170 VDC input voltages. The optocoupler outputs are for both negative and positive switched circuits.

The wider voltage range offers the ability to interface old circuitry or unique voltages with today's industrial control systems, PLCs and machines. With only a 6 mm wide housing, the compact design offers a space-saving, flexible solution. Five connection points (pre-marked with standard input and output nomenclature) and multiple commoning options are available, including 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10-way push in type jumper bars. An LED that meets CE requirements provides visual indication of correct operation. Additional features include built-in test points and custom circuit marking capability.

The 859 Series accepts 22-14 AWG and features the unique Cage Clamp Compact spring pressure termination technology. Single pole relays are available in both single and double throw versions. Consult factory for custom solutions. List prices for both the optocouplers and relays range from $14.64 to $26.50 per piece.
