Double Level, Knife Disconnect Terminal Block
Carlisle, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect Inc. (ASI) is pleased to announce the release of the DSS.4 double level knife disconnect terminal block for mounting onto a DIN rail. With a feed through connection on the bottom level and a knife disconnect on the upper level this new terminal block is ideally suited for control loop applications. Typically in a control loop or similar circuit it is necessary to open up one side of the circuit to conduct tests, the DSS.4 facilitates this necessity. The lever or knife disconnect is colored green so that it is easy for the customer to determine visually which circuit is open.
The DSS.4 is UL recognized and is rated for 24 - 10 AWG, 600 volts and 24 amps. At only 6mm wide the DSS.4 can save a lot of panel space while making installation and testing much easier than traditional terminal blocks. Wire termination is accomplished with the highly reliable screw clamp method. The housing of the DSS.4 is molded with UL 94V0 material.
