Bolt-On RTD Temperature Sensors

Minco's new series of bolt-on temperature sensors are rugged, easy to install and remove, and designed for a wide range of applications. Their small sizes allow mounting in limited space and the rugged lead-wire connections prevent damage during handling, installation and operation. The designs include four models with through holes and two models with threaded bolt designs. Use them for monitoring equipment in place, testing thermal characteristics of new designs, or adding thermal monitoring to an existing production machine.

Platinum and nickel RTD elements are available to match your existing instruments, with temperature ranges up to 550°C. The 100 ohm at 0°C platinum (0.00385 TCR) element meets the IEC 751 international standard while the 1000 ohm at 0°C platinum RTD provides greater sensitivity. Models with 100 ohm at 0°C platinum (0.00375 TCR) elements and 100 ohm at 0°C nickel elements are also available.

Two-wire construction allows use with 4-20 mA transmitters, or choose a three-wire design to compensate for leadwire resistance. Standard designs provide off-the-shelf convenience, and customized configurations are possible for OEM applications.
