Scapa North America has introduced a pressure sensitive aluminum backed glass cloth tape designed specifically for use on high pressure pipes and connections with burst potential. Offering strength and high temperature resistance, Scapa 290 is wrapped around high pressure pipes to act as a burst inhibitor.
Scapa 290 is ideal for a variety of applications including transportation systems such as autos, locomotives, marine vessels, and aircraft; as well as piping used in boilers, oil field, steam power and fluid line pipes.
