A new, extremely small programmable temperature recorder that can be put into shipments in wet or harsh environments and provide instant accept or reject capability is being introduced by MadgeTech, Inc. of Warner, NH.
The MadgeTech MicroTemp Temperature Recorder is fully waterproof, measures only 2-¼" L x 5/8" dia., and is made of 316L stainless steel for use in harsh environments. Featuring green and red LEDs inside and programmable alarm limits for a specific temperature range over time, it can be opened after a shipment to instantly see whether to accept or reject the goods.
Providing reading rates from one every two seconds to one every 12 hrs., the MadgeTech MicroTemp Temperature Recorder can automatically log up to 32,767 temperature measurements in real-time with all data date stamped and NIST traceable. Operating from -40ºC to +80ºC with ±0.5% FS accuracy, it is powered by a 3.6V lithium battery and can be started and stopped by a PC.
