Original Press Release:

The New Inpro4800 Top-Of-The-Line PH Electrode from Mettler-Toledo Ingold Handles High-Pressure, High-Temperature, Dirty Chemical Processes

Mettler-Toledo Ingold introduces a new, combined pH / temperature electrode for the toughest chemical processes. The strong resistance towards oxidizing media, solvents, and acid or alkali solutions, together with high operational pressure and temperature specification, makes this electrode the choice for highly demanding applications.

The InPro 4800 family of pH electrodes with advanced gel electrolyte (patent pending), offers substantially prolonged operational life, significantly reducing sensor maintenance and replacement costs.

Technical features include:

o Pressure-compensated reference system enables operation at particularly high pressure and temperature, 13 bar (188 psi) at 130° C (266° F)

o Extremely long diffusion path in two separated reference electrolyte chambers

o Dirt-repellant annular PTFE reference junction

o Integral temperature sensor

o Watertight VarioPin plug connector (IP68) provides a more interference-free measurement signal, and allows for easy installation
