High Performance TE Controllers


ILX Lightwave introduces the LDT-5900 Series Precision Temperature Controllers for laser diodes and photonics devices in both low and high power applications. These two new instruments incorporate full PID closed-loop control with digital PWM TE current control, ensuring precise, efficient temperature control over wide temperature ranges. The LDT-5900 Series support thermistor, IC and platinum RTD sensors which can be selected and configured easily from the front panel or via standard GPIB interface. Use the LDT-5948 60W TE Controller for internal TE control and the LDT-5980 120W High Power TE Controller for external temperature control in L-I-V test applications where multiple test temperatures are required. Key features such as four wire voltage sense and independent heating/cooling TE current limits, optimize characterization and protection of TE modules during development, testing or assembly. Additional features like auto-tune, input/output triggers, and full GPIB control make for hands free operation in automated systems.
