Watlow Makes Enhancements to SERIES CV Temperature Controllers
St. Louis - Watlow recently enhanced its SERIES CV line of microprocessor-based temperature controllers with the addition of a new operator interface that allows users to view or adjust an application's desired set point temperature value while the controller is operating in its normal steady state.
To use the new option, operators simply depress the controller's "Push to Set" key while rotating the "Set Point Selection" knob to the desired set point value. Upon releasing the "Push to Set" key, the controller will revert back to displaying the actual measured process temperature value.
"This option is similar to that offered on our SERIES 935 controllers," explains Roger Weichers, Watlow product manager. "After a number of customers requested the option on the SERIES CV, we added the feature and it's available for production shipments now. It can be ordered by adding a "D" as the last digit of the part number."
The SERIES CV is intended for applications requiring basic on-off control. The controllers are available in a broad range of packaging options, with or without an operator interface, and can be ordered in square 1/8 DIN panel mount, DIN-rail mount or open board design configurations.
The SERIES CV controllers are UL® and C-UL® listed, CE approved and backed by a Watlow three-year warranty.
