Ready To Install Temperature Assemblies for Surface Measurements

NORTH HILLS, CALIF., Nov 30, 2001 - Moore Industries' ready-to-install temperature assemblies for surface measurements mount directly to tanks, pipes, motors, compressors, reactors, or anywhere a skin (surface) temperature measurement is needed. These versatile assemblies include the company's WORM Flexible Sensor coupled with the users' choice of PC-Programmable or Smart HART® Temperature Transmitters. Precise engineering and stainless steel mounting accessories allow these assemblies to endure the harshest field environments.

The WORM spring-loaded, flexible sensor trims-to-length, providing quick and easy installation in a wide range of temperature measurement applications. With other sensors, such as straight sensors, the connection head, and sometimes assembly
components, must be removed to install the sensor. The WORM slides right through the connection head port, and into the assembly, without removing any of the assembly components. Step response times for the WORM flexible sensor are remarkably 13%
faster than standard sensors. A variety of RTD and thermocouples are available, including 100 and 1000 ohm, platinum RTDs, J- and K- type thermocouples and others.
