Television Espanola (TVE) to Deploy SWE-DISH Drive-Away SATCOM Systems Nationwide

SWE-DISH Demonstrates Leadership in the Spanish Broadcast Market as Spain's Largest National Broadcaster Selects Drive-Away 150 Systems

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Nov. 29 -- SWE-DISH Satellite Systems AB, a DataPath company, has received an order for up to 20 SWE-DISH Drive-Away 150 systems for several Spanish broadcasters, primarily Television Espanola (TVE). The agreement was secured in close cooperation with SWE-DISH's Spain-based sales and service partner, Atlas Sistemas. TVE will base 16 of the vehicle-mounted 1.5-meter antenna systems throughout Spain, giving the broadcaster greater mobility to produce high-quality live broadcasts of local news and events.

"All our systems, including the IPT Suitcase®, Fly-Away 150 and Drive-Away 150, have been used in the most challenging environments by our international government customers such as military, police and rescue organizations," said Lars Jehrlander, CEO, SWE-DISH. "The fact that Spain's largest national broadcasting network selects our systems highlights the strong interest in the broadcast market for the same high-quality, high-performance mobile satellite systems."

The SWE-DISH Drive-Away 150 is one solution in the company's innovative line of easy-to-use and quick-to-air SATCOM terminals. The Drive-Away 150 features a unique design that completely encloses the system in a sleek, rugged compartment on the top of a vehicle. The antenna deploys within 10 minutes and automatically acquires a selected satellite.

The terminals ordered by TVE are expected to be delivered late in 2007 and early 2008, and deployed soon after.
