Exclusive Extender-Plus(TM) Telescoping Transfer Conveyor Replaces Multiple Units & Adjusts to Desired Length

MORRIS, MN - Morris, Minn.-based Superior Industries announces its new, exclusive Extender-Plus(TM) telescoping transfer conveyor, a hydraulically operated unit that is designed and engineered based on solid input from producers in the field. The Extender-Plus eliminates the need for multiple transfer conveyor units, while offering producers the time saving flexibility to automatically extend and/or retract one adjustable unit to meet the required length of transfer to a particular stockpile. The Extender-Plus is a solution to the problems of downtime, labor and loader use required to move and adjust multiple transfer units to meet stockpiling needs. Additionally, the portability factor of the Extender-Plus allows for significant savings in time, labor, and costs of freight.

The Extender-Plus is comprised of a main conveyor (80' long with 70" deep truss) and a telescoping conveyor (80' long with 54" deep truss with head section). The producer can adjust the unit to any desired length via its telescoping mechanism. The stinger telescopes in and out with a hydraulic cable winch system. Its portability is via a double-axle carrier with two hydraulic landing legs. The axle assembly consists of a hydraulic raise package on the main frame to adjust the height to 40" at the axle; a 9 HP Honda gas engine; and a valve package to operate the winch and hydraulic raise on the axle. The system accesses CEMA C, Superior 805 Series, 5-in diameter troughing and return idlers.
