Telescoping Torque Arms work with high-torque output tools.

Press Release Summary:

Designed to optimize production and quality control during assembly, EZ-Glider Inverted Torque Arms are crafted with carbon fiber, extend up to 8 ft, and collapse like telescope. Ergonomic units help prevent side loading or cross threading during assembly and can minimize RMI and CTS. With torque capacity up to 147.5 ft-lbf, arms operate with variety of tools such as electric and pneumatic screwdrivers, angle nutrunners, pulse tools, impact wrenches, drills, and sanders.

Introducing EZ-Glider Inverted Telescoping Torque Arms for Assembly Tools with a High Torque Capacity

San Jose, Calif., - Mountz, Inc. introduces a new line high torque capacity torque arms to the EZ-Glider product family. The new inverted telescoping torque arm models feature the ability to work with higher torque output tools and provide the ergonomic safety for their operators. The EZ-Glider torque arms are designed to improve production and quality control during the assembly process.

The ergonomic design of the EZ-Glider torque arms reduces RMI (repetitive motion injury) and CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome). The effortless handling of the torque arm provides comfortable tool operation and increased production. The torque arms eliminate torque reaction of power and pneumatic tools.

Crafted with lightweight durable carbon fiber the torque arm collapses like a telescope. The EZ-Glider inverted telescoping torque arms are easy-to-use, require little space and don't disrupt production flow. The new telescoping torque arms provide an increase operating length, with models that can extend up to 8 feet. The torque arms are ideal for assembly lines like automotive, aerospace and appliance where space is a premium and operator safety is mandatory. Assembly tools can be mounted to a telescoping torque arm and hung above to fixed rail system or a trolley system. When the piece part moves down the assembly line, the operator grabs tool and uses it.

The EZ-Glider inverted telescoping torque arms securely keep electric or pneumatic drivers in perpendicular or a level alignment to help prevent side loading or cross threading occurring during the assembly process. The torque arm helps remove the operator's influence in the assembly process and strengthens quality control. The new inverted telescoping torque arms offer an increase torque operating capacity up to 147.5 lbf.ft (200 N.m.). These arms can be used with a variety assembly tools like, electric & pneumatic screwdrivers, angle nutrunners, pulse tools, pistol grip style tools, grinders, impact wrenches, drills, sanders, and percussion tools.

The flexible EZ-Glider inverted telescoping arms provide manufacturers the ability to mount the arms to a wall, workbench, a standard rail system, aluminum extrusion or existing overhead system. The torque arms are maintenance free.
