Tele Atlas Furthers Fleet Market Leadership with New Enhancements to Award-Winning Tele Atlas/Logistics Database

Announces New Partnership and Will Showcase Industry-Leading Partner Applications at American Trucking Association Management Conference

LEBANON, N.H., Oct. 23 -- Tele Atlas (FSE: TA6, EUNV: TA), a leading global provider of digital maps and dynamic content for the fleet and logistics market, today announced new product features for its award-winning Tele Atlas/Logistics database to further facilitate safe, legal and efficient routing of restricted vehicles, including extended North American road network coverage. The company also announced expanded leadership in the logistics market, with Terion now leveraging Tele Atlas' digital map data for its commercial fleet management application.

Over one million vehicles -- nearly 75 percent of the technology-driven fleet market -- rely on Tele Atlas' digital map data and location based content for superior tracking, routing and scheduling. Using Tele Atlas/Logistics, recognized as best commercial product in 2006 by Telematics Update, trucking fleets maximize assets, minimize costs associated with out-of-route miles or fines, and improve customer satisfaction with more accurate arrival time estimates.

The new enhancements to Tele Atlas/Logistics include approximately 200 additional U.S. cities and Canadian coverage in 26 top cities. The 200 new U.S. cities feature "last-mile" routing attributes to better enable accurate navigation on local road networks and bring the total U.S. road network coverage to include more than 1,200 cities, the National Network and state roads in all 50 states. The new features of Tele Atlas/Logistics are expected to be available on October 31 and are designed to support industry-leading partner fleet management applications.

Tele Atlas and its leading industry partners will showcase a range of fleet applications at the American Trucking Association (ATA) Management Conference in Dallas, Texas, October 28-31 in booth #214. Applications leveraging Tele Atlas' fresh, rich digital map data and location based content will be demonstrated by Agilis Systems, deCarta, Descartes, Gearworks, Inrix, Lectronix, ObjectFX, ProMiles, Teletrac and UPS Logistics Technologies.
