Telanetix Executive Telepresence System Drives New Pricing Model and Price Point for Fully Featured Telepresence System
SAN DIEGO, March 21 -- Telanetix, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: TNXI) (www.telanetix.com) a leading developer of telepresence technology today introduced its new Executive Digital Presence system, a fully featured telepresence solution which is available on a $1000 per month financing plan. The Executive Digital Presence system provides immersive, high-quality multi-screen video through the Telanetix Digital Presence Codec. The solution incorporates the latest audio and video technologies and integrated data sharing capabilities. The SIP-based, standards compliant system is designed to operate on any high quality IP network, and can communicate with SIP-based systems from other manufacturers.

The Telanetix Executive Digital Presence system is an integrated, full- featured telepresence system. The standard $1,000 per month system includes two 42-inch plasma screens which may be wall mounted or floor mounted and does not require any special room preparation.

The Telanetix Codec is the core of the Executive Digital Presence product, which allows the solution to deliver full-size, face-to-face images of real-time video, audio and data in high resolution at 30-frames per second. The experience is so profoundly real that users feel as if they are all present in the same room. The Telanetix developed control system allows users to initiate a call to anywhere in the world by simply touching the location on the touch-screen control panel. True IP multipoint allows up to five locations to be connected simultaneously, and because there is no bridge requirement, each location may add and delete other locations without disrupting the call.
