Tektronix Mixed Signal Oscilloscope Named a Finalist for Elektra Awards 2007


MSO4000 Nominated in 'Design and Test Product of the Year' Category

BEAVERTON, Ore., October 29, 2007 - Tektronix, Inc. (NYSE:TEK), a leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, announced that its MSO4000 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope has been short listed as a finalist in the Design & Test Product of the Year category of the Elektra 07 Awards, organized by Electronics Weekly.

Launched in April 2007, the MSO4000 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope for embedded design and debug combines three powerful capabilities - the breakthrough Wave Inspector waveform search engine, an advanced real - time oscilloscope and basic logic analyzer capabilities. These allow engineers to conveniently visualize and correlate analog and digital signals on a single instrument. The MSO4000 family includes four models ranging from 350MHz to 1 GHz, with two or four analog channels and 16 digital channels to provide up to 20 time-correlated channels. Now in their fifth year, the Elektra Awards recognize the achievements of companies across the European electronics industry. The awards are designed to promote best practice in key areas including customer care, sales growth, and innovation and employee motivation. The winners will be announced at a Gala dinner on the 12th December 2007 in London.
