Specialty Lighting Introduces PTL Series Under-Cabinet Task Lighting

Product Description: PTL Series is noted by its slender profile with curved front and sides less than two inches in height. From many viewing angles, the PTL unit is invisible from a normal seated or standing position. It visually integrates with cabinetry.
Not a flimsy "rope light" or strip light, PTL Series is made of coated steel in five standard lengths; 18, 24, 36, 48 and 60 inches. Light emanates from a single linear T8 fluorescent lamp in 15, 17, 25, 32 or 40 watts, with 3500 Kelvin color rendition, ideal for seeing true colors.
A clear prismatic acrylic lens shields the lamp and diffuses the light, to avoid any glare. A Class P sound-rated "A" ballast provides instant-on, flicker-free illumination from a centrally located on/off rocker switch on the fixture. Cord management guides insert onto the back of the fixture, keeping the 1 6/3 SJT power cord with molded plug out of sight.
Metal or wood screws, or steel mounting bars, can be used to firmly attach single or multiple units into the underside of furniture countertops, above worksurfaces and onto shelves or inside display-case tops. PTL Series is UL and CUL listed.
Construction & Finishes: The PTL Series housing is made of 100% steel, with an acrylic prismatic lens. Standard housing colors are black or metallic silver. Custom colors and finishes available in quantities, at an up-charge.
