Tank Weighing Module has integral lifting device.

Press Release Summary:

Offered in galvanized and stainless steel versions, Z6 lets users change load cell without removing complete tank-weighing module. Anti-liftoff safety feature secures load cell, and overload stop restricts load cell deflection and protects it from mechanical overload. Design also includes stay rods with side joints for absorbing horizontal forces. Using self-centering pendulum design feature, module provides point load application.

New Features Make Tank Weighing Safer and Easier

An integral lifting device has been included in the latest design of HBM's Z6 tank weighing modules allowing users to easily change the load cell without removing the complete tank-weighing module.

A separate anti-liftoff safety feature secures the load cell preventing the tank from excess tilting or lifting off its carrier. Finally, an integral overload stop that restricts the load cell's deflection and protects it from mechanical overload has been included.

Other design improvements to improve the accuracy of readings include stay rods with side joints for absorbing horizontal forces that occur in mixer tanks and similar dynamic applications. The Z6 tank weighing modules provide point load application using a self-centering pendulum design feature.

HBM's Z6 tank weighing modules are used in combination with Z6 load cells giving an ideal combination in tank and batching weighers and in process monitoring and level measurement applications. The tank weighing modules are approved for use in potentially explosive atmospheres of zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 when used with the ATEX-compliant Z6 series of load cells.

The Z6 module is available for nominal loads of 50, 100, 200 and 500kg and includes galvanized and stainless steel versions. It has a low profile and is easy to install.
