Talari Networks Partners with Top Avaya Channel Solutions Provider NACR

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Talari Networks™ Inc., a leading provider of solutions to increase WAN reliability and application quality, today announced a new channel partnership with solutions integration expert NACR. NACR, named 2012 Avaya U.S. Services Partner of the Year, has incorporated Talari's family of Mercury APN (Adaptive Private Networking) WAN appliances into its portfolio of solutions to enhance the collaboration, contact center and data communication experience for its 5,500+ customers, including more than 40 percent of the Fortune 100 companies in the U.S.

"This partnership with Talari underscores NACR's continued mission to provide our customers with a comprehensive portfolio of networking services to meet their end-to-end communications needs," said NACR's Senior Vice President of Product Technology Paul Maier. "Many of our customers have large data centers and contact centers, and are increasingly turning to unified communication platforms that require a WAN that can handle the uninterrupted, real-time transmission of large call volumes and data files. With Talari's Mercury appliances, we can help our customers make network performance-sensitive applications, such as VoIP, desktop video conferencing and virtual desktop infrastructure, reliable enough to support mission-critical business operations while minimizing network costs."

Talari and NACR will also position Talari's Mercury WAN appliances as a replacement solution for the many contact centers that still rely on Avaya's discontinued Converged Network Analyzer (CNA) technology. With minimal changes in network settings, these contact centers can replace their CNA and gain the same feature benefits of network traffic monitoring and best path selection decisions in failover from unavailable/low-performing paths to the better network path, with higher resiliency and better QoS.

"NACR is known for its expertise in networking, communications, collaboration and customer interaction solutions for businesses of all sizes, which makes them an ideal channel partner for Talari," said Talari’s President and CEO Emerick Woods. "With this partnership, NACR is selling Talari's WAN appliances to businesses that need a reliable WAN that monitors and mitigates data traffic on the network on a per-packet basis to ensure high levels of application resiliency - a critical need for today's customers who are increasingly relying on real-time applications to conduct business."

At the heart of Talari's Mercury WAN appliances is its patented APNware operating software, which aggregates broadband, leased-line and other links to achieve greater reliability. APNware performs sub-second analysis and builds a real-time map of the quality of those links to determine where to send each packet, then applies a QoS engine to prioritize which applications use the best links at any given time. The end result is a highly resilient WAN that seamlessly adapts to changing conditions in the underlying network and ensures that applications operate without disruption and at a high level of quality.
