Eastman Launches Regalite C6100 Multi-Purpose Tackifier Resin for Nonwoven Adhesives
Odorless, clear resin improves tack and eases application of hot melt adhesives
Kingsport, Tenn. (April 27, 2004) - Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE:EMN) announces the launch of Regalite C6100, a new partially hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin for nonwoven adhesives. Tackifier resins are added to the base polymers and elastomers in adhesives to improve their ability to stick. Regalite C6100 is compatible with a wide range of elastomers and polymers, making it a versatile choice for a variety of hot melt adhesive formulations. Crystal clear and odorless, Regalite C6100 is ideal for use in adhesives for such hygiene products as diapers, adult incontinence products and feminine hygiene products.
