GE Lighting Introduces Energy Efficient T8 Watt-MiserÂ® Ultra XL

New Product Marks Highest Energy Savings T8 Lamp In The Industry

CLEVELAND, OHIO - August, 2002 - GE Lighting will introduce yet another technological advancement at this year's LightFair 2002 in June...the exclusive T8 Watt-MiserÂ® Ultra XL. This new product offers the ultimate in energy savings in T8 technology. In fact, the 29 Watt T8 Watt-Miser Ultra XL will save up to 11 percent in energy over standard T8 lamps - without compromising light output - and offers 25,000 hours of life.

Incorporating GE's exclusive StarcoatÂ® technology, the new T8 Watt-Miser Ultra XL operates at 29 Watts and offers an 81+ CRI (color rendering index), insuring optimum color, light output and performance. The product, which is also TCLP compliant, will be available in 4-foot versions.
