New releases of Visual CE®, Report CE®, mEnable®, and all other Mobile Software development tools from SYWARE now support Windows Vista.
CAMBRIDGE, MA, USA - March, 15th 2007- SYWARE, Inc., a leading developer of mobile database development tools for business and personal productivity, today announced that their mobile development tools are now fully compatible with the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. These powerful, inexpensive, award winning, mobility development tools make it easy to build applications for all types of Windows Mobile devices: Pocket PC, Pocket PC Phone Edition and Smartphone. SYWARE, Inc.'s products continue to support all previous 32-bit Windows operating systems and are fully backward compatible.
With the release of Windows Vista Microsoft has made significant changes to the way the desktop connects and synchronizes to Windows Mobile devices. SYWARE's current releases accommodate and take advantage of these changes. The desktop development environment installs and runs on Vista and the mobile applications built with SYWARE's products install and synchronize with Windows Vista desktops. Support for Windows Vista extends to all versions: corporate (Vista Business and Vista Enterprise) as well as consumer (Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, and Ultimate).
This news follows the recent announcement that SYWARE, Inc's tools can now be used to create applications for Windows Mobile based Smartphones without touchscreens (Windows Mobile 6 "Standard" devices), as well as Pocket PCs and Pocket PC phone Edition devices (Windows Mobile 6 "Classic" and "Professional" devices). Developers can create a single application that runs on all Windows Mobile devices, including the Motorola Q, the Samsung Blackjack, the HP I-Mate, the Dopod StrTrk S300, and the HTC MteoR.
