Squeak & Rattle Measurement System from Larson Davis



July 7, 2003, Provo, UT - Ford Motor Company and Larson Davis recently announced the availability of the NOMAD Squeak & Rattle Measurement System through Larson Davis distribution channels.

The NOMAD system was developed by Ford Motor Company for conducting objective NVH and Squeak & Rattle measurements on auto components and vehicles. The system hardware consists of a precision measurement microphone, connected to a laptop computer equipped with a high quality sound card. The S&R software couples subjective assessments with objective data for identifying root causes of NVH and Squeak & Rattle. The system is compact, highly portable, and easy to use.
