SYSPRO to Demonstrate Landmark Release of SYSPRO Software and Revolutionary Fluid Interface Design at APICS Show in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. - October 29, 2006 - APICS Show -- SYSPRO, a leading enterprise business solutions provider, said the company will demonstrate the newest release of SYSPRO software, SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 010, and the crowning pinnacle of the release, the Fluid Interface Design, at the APICS Show in Orlando, Fla., October 29 - 31, in booth 913. The revolutionary Fluid Interface Design tops the list of more than one hundred new enhancements that bring deeper functionality in the SYSPRO core product --Finance, Distribution and Manufacturing - introduce new capabilities and further extend the software's ability to handle multi-site environments.

SYSPRO's Fluid Interface Design enables a new level of software customization. Now, without any programming knowledge, any user of SYSPRO software has the ability to utilize common actions like drag and drop to move or create custom fields, delete and restore fields, tailor forms, move items to background status and perform a myriad of other customization actions to enhance accuracy and elevate performance levels. Fluid Interface Design even enables the more technical user to extend the functionality of default fields with the aid of simple VB Scripting, making it possible to leverage the power of the SYSPRO solutions business component architecture or interfaces defined by data sources and systems outside of the SYSPRO environment.

According to SYSPRO USA President Joey Benadretti, "SYSPRO Fluid Interface Design allows users to perfectly align their individual worlds and business roles to achieve new levels of operational efficiency. It would be impossible, uneconomical and impractical for software developers and an interface design team to come up with every possible screen layout or arrangement. Fluid Interface Design, however, adds a new level of user self-customization previously unavailable in the world of software."

In addition to Fluid Interface Design, SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 010 introduces Electronic Signatures and SYSPRO Reporting Services, a next generation reporting tool that incorporates an embedded version of Crystal Reports XI for a single, cost-effective solution that simplifies operational effectiveness.

In the area of Manufacturing, SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 010 offers new functionalities that extend the abilities of SYSPRO software to further the Lean manufacturing model. Among these are provisions for projects and contracts, co-products and by-products, the allocation of existing lots/serials for component parts and the creation of new lots/serials for parent parts, the accommodation of scraps, the capturing of user-defined information against work centers and employees and batch warehouse ordering.

In the area of Distribution, SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 010 includes new provisions for lot traceability and serial tracking, load planning and functionality, and it extends the abilities to deal with multiple warehouses and bins by warehouse.

In the area of Accounting, SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 010 offers greater flexibility for dealing with foreign currencies, the tracking of balances by branch, choice of A/R formats and the bulk mailing of A/R statements.

Summarizing SYSPRO 6.0 Issue 010, Benadretti says: "This landmark release represents a significant step in SYSPRO's policy of bringing the product closer to the customer by making it easier to use and facilitating customization by the client."
