Henkel Loctite Introduces Manually-Controlled Syringe Dispense System

Rocky Hill, Conn. - July 18, 2002. Henkel Loctite Corporation has introduced a new syringe dispense system for manual dispensing of dots, drops, or beads of water-thin or paste-consistency adhesives, sealants, and other fluids. The system offers quick and easy set up and clean up, resulting in minimal downtime. The unit is flip-switch activated and dispense cycle is controlled by a manual foot switch.

The manually operated, pressure-time syringe system accepts either 10 cc or 30 cc syringes, and features an adjustable pressure regulator that can be set at 0 to 100 psi and a pressure gauge to monitor dispense pressure. When the foot switch is actuated, a pulse of air is transmitted through the airline adapter to the top of the syringe barrel, pushing a metered amount of material out of the dispense tip.

The manual syringe dispense system requires minimal bench space and is available with an optional vacuum suck-back feature to prevent dripping when dispensing low viscosity liquids. Syringe barrels and airline adapters sold separately.
