Klüber Lubrication Introduces Long-Life Synthetic Hydraulic Oil for Injection Molding Reservoirs

Klüberfood 4 NH1-46 is the only fully synthetic NSF H1 registered hydraulic oil approved for use by Husky Injection Molding Systems

Londonderry, NH - - Klüber Lubrication, one of the world's leading manufacturers of specialty lubricants, has introduced Klüberfood 4 NH1-46, the only NSF H1 registered, fully synthetic hydraulic oil that is approved for use on Husky injection molding equipment.

Compared with mineral hydraulic oils, the Klüberfood 4 NH1-46 reduces contaminant build-up and valve blockages, resulting in longer oil change intervals and lower operating costs in hydraulic systems.

Husky Injection Molding Systems, one of the world's leading suppliers of injection molding equipment and services to the global plastics industry, has approved Klüberfood 4 NH 1-46 in its range of injection-molding machines for use on all generations of Husky machines. "After a successful two-year test, we were pleased to see that our oil met or exceeded all of the performance criteria for both Husky and the end-user. Our product is now the only NSF H1 registered, synthetic oil to attain Husky approval", said Kimberly Eldridge, food market manager, Klüber Lubrication North America L.P.

Klüberfood 4 NH 1-46 provides good oxidation stability and overall stability at extreme temperatures, from -40°C to 135°C, and offers protection against friction and wear.

Klüberfood 4 NH1-46 is compatible with all materials that are resistant to mineral oil, including neoprene, NBRE, FPM, PTFE, paints based on acrylic and epoxy resin, nylon (polyamide) and PVC.
