Synergetics Portable Media Product Certified by ECCMA for ISO 8000
FORT COLLINS, Colo., Oct. 30 -- Synergetics Incorporated, a Fort Collins, Colorado based IT services company announces its Integrated Mobile Database (IMD) is the first and only Electronic Commerce Code Management Association (ECCMA) and International Standards Organization (ISO) certified portable media product. Synergetics' IMD technology suite has the ability to extract, compress, and index data to produce ECCMA certified, ISO 8000 compliant portable media versions of the original data.
The mission of the ECCMA is to develop, maintain and promote the ECCMA Open Technical Dictionary (eOTD) as an international open standard descriptive language for cataloging individuals, organizations, locations, goods and services. The global, open standard dictionaries are used to unambiguously label information. These dictionaries enable information to be passed from one computer system to another without losing meaning. The eOTD unambiguous labeling standards are essential for data exchange between DoD/NATO agencies and commercial vendors.
