Syneo Announces the Redesign of Catheter Hole-Drilling Machine

West Palm Beach, FL - January 8, 2013 - Syneo, the medical device solutions company, announces the redesign of their latest automated catheter hole drilling machine. The Accu-Drill SD400 has a new compact design and provides the ideal solution for catheter hole drilling and skiving patterns requiring four axes of control.

"The Accu-Drill SD400 has been enhanced with safety and efficiency in mind. The spindle axis has been horizontally mounted to allow for faster drill changes and a more efficient hole-plug removal process," says Trent Steckler, Director of Engineering at Syneo.

The new design also features a full-color HMI touch screen, pattern memory and adjustable speed control, and can be easily integrated with the Syneo Accu-Feed product line of automated catheter feeders for increased productivity.

For a product demonstration, Syneo will be displaying the Accu-Drill SD400 at MD&M West in Anaheim, California on February 12-14 in booth #3315, and at MEDTEC Europe in Stuttgart, Germany on February 26-28 in booth #1L62.
