New 5 Digit .01 Degree Synchro To BCD Converter
A series of 5 digit, .01 degree resolution, pin programmable for 11.8, 26 or 90 volts, Synchro to BCD Converter modules with up to .03 degree accuracy has been introduced by Computer Conversions Corporation.
The new modules are 2.6" x 3.1 " x .82"H and are designed to be mounted on PC boards. They convert Synchro or Resolver inputs of 11.8, 26V or 90V, 400Hz or 90V 60Hz into 5 decade BDC data representing angle with an accuracy of .050 or .030.
The Converters have isolated Synchro inputs and a zero offset adjustment. The digital outputs are TTL/CMOS compatible and input data is accepted. Frequency range is 47Hz to 1200Hz. Part #TUBC40 requires a 26V or 115V, 400Hz AC reference input and -8V DC @ 40ma, and +5V DC 100ma. max. Operating temperature ranges are 0°C to +70°C and -55°C to 105°C.
