o Sybase iAnywhere Named Mobile Middleware Leader - Sybase iAnywhere was
recently recognized by IDC as a worldwide leading provider of mobile
middleware. The report, Worldwide Mobile Middleware 2007-2011 Forecast
and 2006 Vendor Shares (IDC #207393, August 2007), measured Sybase
iAnywhere's higher revenues and market share-results that placed the

o Alliance with HTC to Deliver More Secure, Better Managed Mobile
Solutions - Sybase and HTC, the world's leading provider of Microsoft
Windows Mobile-based smart devices, today announced the formation of a
global alliance, teaming on strategic business, engineering and
marketing initiatives designed to deliver optimized Sybase iAnywhere
mobility software for HTC devices.

o Preview of Next-Generation Architecture for Unwiring the Enterprise -
Sybase offered a sneak peek at an integrated technology stack designed
to further simplify development and deployment of mobile enterprise
solutions.

o Sybase 365 Extends Mobile Banking Services - Sybase 365 announced new
services for financial institutions in the Americas, extending its
reach from Asia and Europe. Additionally, the company shared results
of a commissioned consumer mobile banking survey across the United
States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil highlighting the growing
mobile banking trend.

o Sybase iAnywhere Highlights Use of Virtualization to Facilitate Managed
Mobility Services - Meeting demand for multi-tenancy and hosted
applications, partners can leverage virtualization technology to
increase security and scalability of management services based on
Information Anywhere mobile management technology.

o Information Anywhere Suite Enhancements - In July, Sybase iAnywhere
announced that it has expanded the suite's mobile collaboration
capabilities with the general availability of Information Anywhere(R)
Mobile IM, which provides secure instant messaging and presence
capabilities to mobile workers. In addition, significant new
enhancements have been added to the suite's security solution for
laptops, including the addition of security for shareable removable
media.

Information Management Highlights:
o Sybase IQ Financial Services Momentum - New customers in financial
services have chosen Sybase(R) IQ to enhance customer service, customer
satisfaction and revenue potential by supporting massive amounts of
data, maintaining the highest levels of data security and performing
lightning quick ad hoc queries.

o Adaptive Server(R) Enterprise Enhancements - Sybase recently announced
key enhancements of Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) that
advance its industry-leading encryption and manageability without
compromising mission critical performance and further establish itself
as one of the most cost-effective data management platforms for
business-critical computing.

o PowerBuilder 11 for .NET - Sybase recently announced PowerBuilder(R)
11, the premier 4GL rapid application development (RAD) tool, which
builds on its strength in quickly developing data-driven applications
necessary to critical business functions. PowerBuilder 11 provides
PowerBuilder developers with the simplest, easiest and most
cost-effective way to deploy applications on the .NET platform.
