The new Rexroth PowerScara sets itself apart with space-saving drive and control technology. The high-performance swivel-arm robot can be employed even in the tightest spaces, such as those found in electronics manufacturing.
Small production cells which previously required extremely complex handling solutions can now benefit from the advantages of new, cost-effective Rexroth robot technology. Incorporating innovative drive and safety technology, the Rexroth PowerScara needs very little space. Thanks to intelligent integration and streamlined numbers of parts, users can now save up to 85 percent of the typical SCARA space requirements, with substantial space savings resulting from need for only 1U in the control cabinet for the rho4.0 robot and handling control. PowerScara users can select all the options familiar from the turboscara series, such as bellows, user installations, robot vision, or ASi bus connectivity. Additionally, the proven RobotSuite programming environment is available for fast and simple start-up.
