FREMONT, Calif. (June 6, 2005) - Phihong USA, a global leader in electronic accessories and power supplies, introduced a 500 Watt 1U switching power supply with 1500VAC output isolation and SELV output for applications such as Power-over-Ethernet, telecommunications, servers and network redundant power sources. The PSM500-210, available with 48V or 12V main outputs and 12V standby output, operates from an input voltage range of 85-265VAC with active power factor correction and is hotplug n+1 configurable for scaleable and redundant applications.

The PSM500 has integral cooling, current sharing, and standby 12V supply, and is fully protected against overload, over-temperature ortemperature and over-voltage. It features diagnostic capabilities, a front panel LEDs and optional isolation diodes. Three PSM500s can be loaded into a 1U, 19" rack for 1500W.
