Designed to meet the space and performance needs in medical and dental instrumentation and related applications, ASTRODYNE announces the expanded MPM Series product line of medically-approved open frame switching power supplies that provide output power over the range of 40 to 110 Watts. All models accept Universal Input from 85-265VAC and offer single, dual, and triple outputs from 5 to 24VDC. This series provides an economical power solution in applications requiring a low cost open-frame power supply, yet carry full safety approvals to EN60601-1 and UL2601 medical low-leakage specifications. The MPM Series features an integral power-good LED indicator and output adjustment potentiometer and will operate over the Ambient Temperature Range of 0 to 45 °C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain over voltage and short circuit protection circuitry and internal input EMI filtering. Dimensions are as small as 3"L X 5"W X 1.32"H (40 Watt Version) and all models are designed to accept industry standard Molex-style input/output connectors.
