INVENSYS INTRODUCES THE POWERHANDLER PLUS SWITCHBOARD SYSTEM BYPASS MODULE
RALEIGH, N.C. (November 12, 2001) - Invensys Powerware Division
announced today the PowerHandler Plus, the latest in its family of Three-phase power management solutions. The PowerHandler Plus is a switchboard system bypass module (SSBM) for 3200-4000 amp applications. The PowerHandler Plus works with paralleled Powerware 9315 uninterruptible power systems (UPS) to provide a significant increase in reliability.
The PowerHandler Plus enables paralleled UPS systems to be serviced without taking the critical load off of protected power. Easy to operate, the PowerHandler Plus features draw-out breakers, a smaller footprint than competitive switchboards and a fully-rated static switch for inherent product reliability. This new product eliminates the need to outsource switchboard components and extends the integrity of the Powerware brand throughout the entire system.
