New Model 4403 Switch for Remote Power Cycle Reboot
Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL) has just announced the new Model 4403 Remote Reboot Switch. One Model 4403 switch allows the user to remotely perform a power cycle reboot on four systems by controlling the four 115 VAC power outlets. Devices can be individually selected and power can be removed from the device for a user-selected time (15, 30, 45, 60 seconds), after which power is returned. The start of the reboot can be immediate or after a programmable delay of 15, 30, or 60 minutes. All reboot commands are done from a terminal console or computer connected to the Model 4403 CASCADE IN port located on
the rear panel.
The Model 4403 features an interactive menu with master password
protection. Four high-intensity, tri-state LEDs display port status at all times. The Model 4403 can be cascaded with other Model 4403s to control up to 256 Model 4403s. This switch has an all aluminum enclosure, specifically designed to be EMI/RFI (interference) resistant in noisy environments.
