CIT RELAY & SWITCH STJ Series - Waterproof, Spherical, 30° Multi-Directional Actuation Tactile Switches
Maple Grove, Minnesota - CIT RELAY & SWITCH introduces the STJ Series sealed tactile switch. This newest offering from CIT offers overall switch dimensions of the thru-hole STJ and surface mount STJS in a compact, space-saving package of 7.2mm x 7.2mm. Spherical actuator design allows multi-directional, off center actuation of plus or minus 30°.
The RoHS compliant STJ, right-angle STJV, and surface mount STJS Series offer a choice of silver or gold plated contacts over nickel-plated stainless steel. Terminal materials are either silver or gold over nickel-plated brass. The electrical ratings of these series offer maximum power of 1W with the silver, 0.4W with the gold. The maximum voltage for both silver and gold is 50VDC and minimum of 20mV, with maximum current 50mA with minimum being 1mA. Travel to make on all versions of the STJ is 0.4mm. The STJ Series offers actuation force choices of 130gF, 200gF, 300gF and 500gF.
The right-angle version, STJV offers 200gF or 300gF actuation force. Both the STJ and the STJV have a stainless steel actuator and actuator cover with 6/6 Nylon switch housing. The bracket on the STJV is tin-plated steel.
