Swisscom Launches One Phone Business Based on OnRelay MBX

LONDON, May 25// - Swisscom has launched its One Phone Business service. The service is
based on OnRelay's leading Fixed Mobile Convergence product MBX. Swisscom's announcement is the first result of the partnership between Swisscom and OnRelay for convergence that was announced in November 2006.

Swisscom's One Phone Business (OPB) features simple, universal functions that can be used on any network. OPB takes all of the key functions previously only available through a company's in-house fixed-network switchboard and offers these from wherever the user happens to be. This also allows companies to reduce their infrastructure costs as employees only need a mobile phone to use their office phone system.

"OnRelay MBX has enabled Swisscom to combine offerings from various parts of our product portfolio, thereby supporting our new customer centric organisation structure with a combined fixed and mobile solution," says Christian Raas, Senior Product Manager Voice Business at Swisscom.

"We are very excited to be supporting Swisscom launch. With its innovative approach combined with strict quality criteria and a solution oriented mindset, Swisscom is an ideal launchpad for MBX," says OnRelay CEO Ivar Plahte and continues: "As an operator with a market leading position both in fixed and mobile telephony, Swisscom represents the ideal channel opportunity for OnRelay in growing its business."
