Swedish Mobile Phone Sets the Trend for 3GSM

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 9 / -- Neonode, Swedish developer of mobile devices and a pioneer in buttonless touchscreen mobile phones, will be presenting a new phone at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona. Apple's iPhone and several other manufacturers can see the benefits of the concept and are now following the lead set by Neonode.

Neonode introduced its first buttonless and fully touchscreen controlled mobile phone in early 2004. Now, three years later, the concept is expected to be a powerful trend setter in the sector. Neonode's new mobile is being exhibited at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona from February 12th to February 15th, and will be released to the European market in the spring.

"We will be exhibiting a strong product which shows that one does not need to be the biggest to be at the forefront of development," says Tommy Hallberg, CEO of Neonode AB.

Neonode is on the verge of listing on the US NASDAQ stock exchange through a merger with SBE, Inc, thus providing a sound financial platform for the future of the company.
